FANUC Robotics - Payload Checker Pro Disclaimer/Limitations ·FANUC Robotics considers this software highly CONFIDENTIAL as it contains the payload ratings for all FANUC robot models, including all GM robot models. This software is for GM internal use only. Use of this tool by external authorized GM robot tooling designers is granted by FANUC Robotics only at the request of a GM management representative and only if the GM approved tooling designer is aware the software is covered under the terms of a GM Confidentiality agreement in effect with FANUC. The software is not intended for any other distribution. ·This Payload checker software is offered only as an aid to determining the Wrist Load conditions and payload of robots available to GM under the worldwide sourcing agreements. ·Payload Checker is only a tool that evaluates the input load; it is not a tool that calculates the actual load of the end effector and workpiece. It is necessary to input the correct load information for correct validation of the payload capacity. ·If the selected payload is not acceptable, the payload checker can be used to choose another GM robot model, or guide a redesign of the payload to bring it within the robot’s limits. If this is not possible GM or the authorized tooling designer must contact FANUC Robotics to seek approval for a specific GM application based on the criteria. ·When there are any results close to the payload limit, it is recommended to try to reduce the payload and/or inertia or consult with FANUC Robotics about the condition. ·This payload checker software can also calculate with motion range restriction considered. The calculated motion range restriction must be kept while the robot is in production. Please keep on file the records of the information of the robot and the tool, etc. if the robot is used with the motion range restriction. ·This tool is to be used during the designing process for the end effector or selecting the robot models but not intended to tune the robot after finding the existing payload is too large. ·Every effort has been made to ensure that the spreadsheet data and formulas are correct, but FANUC Robotics does not guarantee that it is free of errors. ·There may be some error margin between the load calculation result of this Excel file and the load calculation result of the robot controller. ·FANUC Robotics does not assume responsibility for correct robot selection based on this spreadsheet.
I agree this software is for GM internal use only and agree to Software Disclaimer above.
