Why is it important to purchase your batteries directly from FANUC?
Lithium batteries connected to FANUC products are not commercially available to 3rd party sellers, including 3rd parties who claim to sell genuine FANUC OEM parts on-line. Therefore is critical for customers to purchase FANUC parts - including lithium batteries - directly from FANUC.
FANUC's lithium batteries have a protection function that works to stop safely in the event of abnormal operation, but there is a possibility that commercial products sold by 3rd parties do not have this protection function, and there is a concern that they will fail in dangerous mode.
FANUC cannot guarantee commercial products purchased by anyone other than FANUC. Therefore, when using a commercially available battery, please replace it with a genuine one.
