For Immediate Release
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – (NOV. 4, 2021)
– FANUC America, the leading supplier of CNCs, robotics, and
ROBOMACHINEs will feature its latest CRX collaborative robot and unique
factory automation solutions at Westec, Nov. 16-18 in Long Beach, CA in
booth #1317.
Easy-to-Use CRX Collaborative Robot
Visitors to FANUC’s booth at Westec will have the opportunity to try
the CRX-10iA/L cobot’s easy hand guidance and intuitive
tablet programming features.
In addition, a FANUC CRX-10iA/L will demonstrate loading and
unloading a lathe. The demonstration will highlight the CRX
cobot’s industrial strength, precision and
flexibility.
FANUC’s CRX collaborative robot is an easy-to-use and
flexible solution for a variety of applications, including machine tending, inspection, welding and more. Built-in sensors on each
axis can allow the CRX cobot to work safely alongside people without the
need for expensive guarding. In addition, the CRX can operate for
eight years maintenance-free, which will help companies reduce costs and
maximize productivity.
The CRX cobot offers the same high level of performance that all FANUC
products are known for including the latest technologies and world-renowned
reliability. It supports several of FANUC’s advanced features
including iRVision®, and is a perfect fit
for any application where collaborative robots can help customers achieve
higher efficiencies. Also, interactive programming enables users to
teach points using hand guidance or a new tablet interface with drag and
drop icons.
CRX Online Training
CRX e-Learning training modules help customers
get their employees quickly up to speed. There are currently seven online
tutorials that cover a product overview with features, unboxing and setup,
three programming courses, and two iRVision courses.
Additional learning modules will be added in the coming months.
Simply register on the site to start the free online
CRX training modules and learn how easy it is to setup and use the CRX in a
very short timeframe.
Easy to Integrate Peripheral Devices with the CRX
FANUC’s CRX site includes a list of approved CRX device suppliers for cobot EOAT devices,
grippers, accessories and plugins. The growing list of partners
include: ATI, CKD, IGUS, JMC Motion, Leoni, OnRobot, Schmalz, Schunk,
Soft Robotics, Zimmer and many more. It’s easy to connect
third-party devices to the CRX, so customers will be able to get up and
running right away using the devices that work for their
application.
FANUC welcomes industrial robot device suppliers interested in having their
products or solutions become part of the FANUC approved devices program for
the CRX collaborative robots.
CRX Applications
Since its introduction, the CRX cobot continues to take on more applications
including inspection, palletizing, machine tending, vision guided pick and
place, sanding and welding. Watch the application videos and learn how the
CRX can help customers achieve higher manufacturing efficiency.

Factory Automation Demonstrations
Westec visitors will also have the opportunity to experience a new and
exciting way to see part production. Our Visual Twin demonstration
highlights FANUC’s end-to-end digitalization solutions for the machine
shop. By seamlessly working with various machine tool builders as well
as Mastercam and ModuleWorks, FANUC’s Visual Twin is an exact software
replica of real CNC machine tools. The Visual Twin will display a
virtualized 5-axis machine tool cutting a part, which mirrors the real-world
machine’s behavior.
Also from the Factory Automation division, we are demonstrating the seamless
integration and high performance of FANUC’s CNC and servo systems in a
Laguna iQ desktop CNC router. Equipped with a complete FANUC CNC system, the
display shows how well the machine, control and drives all work together to
bring unbeatable value in reliability and accuracy. The simulator may
also be used for learning servo parameter setup and enhance servo motor
tuning skills.
